Implemented a sophisticated dual-network architecture featuring: • Unifi firewall with VLAN segmentation creating production and air-gapped 'dark' networks • 10GbE-capable Synology RackStation RS4021xs+ (16-bay) NAS with virtual DSM and dedicated storage pools • High-speed 10GbE switch with jumbo frame support • MDM profile-based network switching allowing same Mac workstations to operate on both networks • Standalone 802.1x authentication for dark network access with dual credential requirements • Dedicated Mac mini on dark network with Mosyle MDM restrictions for secure media ingest • Strategic firewall rule management for essential updates (Adobe, etc.) whilst maintaining security posture
